DS-002 and DS-003
  For families on the go, I have designed and built a stand for portable DVD players to be set-up quickly and easily in vans or SUV’s. The shelves hold DVD’s, games, hand-held electronic games, tissues or any other small items you may need on your trip. Also, the shelves have dowel rods on the ends to hold items on the shelf (not shown). There is a no skid, cushioned pad for the player to sit on, on the DS-002 unit. This unit slides up under the arm rest of the front seats. The DS-003 unit sits between the middle row seats or to the side of the middle bench seat. The DS-003 could also be used in a child's room for a small DVD unit. These would also be good for camping or an extra DVD/TV if required. It mounts with bungee cords (not provided) to seat frames. It takes about 10-15 minutes to set up, compared to the 30-45 minutes of strapping them to seats. The one shown is for a Chrysler, Dodge or Plymouth mini-van. All I need is some dimensions and the style you want for your vehicle. Photos: Left photo is of the units set up in a van from the back seat. Middle photo shows the units - the shelf on the left (DS-003) is for screen only or unit with the player behind the screen , while the right unit (DS-002) if for the pop-up screen/player. Right Photo is a side view in the van (seat removed) to show the set-up. As always, custom stain or paint colors are available.
